To support health care providers’ priorities for managing the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Ministry of Health and Ontario Health (Digital Services) are deferring the termination of the DPV service. DPV will remain available after April 2, 2020 until further notice.

DPV is a secure, web-enabled application that provides prescription drug claims information of 3.8 million Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB) and Trillium Drug Program (TDP) eligible Ontarians.

The Ministry of Health provides prescription drug claims history information to health care providers in all hospitals in Ontario and a limited number of community health centres.
